Veritas uses Support Notifications to communicate critical support-related information to our customers. These Support Notifications include Product Version Release Updates, Product End of Life Updates, Security Alerts, and VEMS Account Management Notifications. These notifications are non-marketing communications, but may include information on purchasing offerings required to continue receiving support for currently owned entitlements, such as Extended Technical Support, Appliance Refresh, etc. when a specific version reaches End of Standard Support or End of Support Life.
Members of VEMS accounts with Support, Generate license keys, Download Software, and Administrator rights will receive Support Notifications related to their products listed in VEMS that are under active support agreements. While Support Notifications are not marketing related, Veritas does occasionally send marketing communications. Customers can opt out of these marketing communications by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in the footer of marketing emails.
