Resolution

Veritas has acknowledged that the above-mentioned issue is present in the version(s) of the product(s) referenced in this article.  

There are no plans to address this issue by way of a cumulative hotfix or release update in the current or previous versions of the software at the present time. However, the issue is currently scheduled to be addressed in a future release of the product. Please be sure to refer back to this document periodically as any changes to the status of the defect will be reflected here. Please note that Veritas reserves the right to remove any fix from the targeted release if it does not pass quality assurance tests. Veritas’s plans are subject to change and any action taken by you based on the above information or your reliance upon the above information is made at your own risk.

Issue/Introduction

On rare occasions, while previewing a specific message in the Compliance Accelerator (CA) Client in the review set, the Client may go to a "Not Responding" state, requiring a forced closure using the Windows Task Manager. Upon launching the client again, the user will observe the below message in the Summary section of the Review tab. Opening the item in Outlook or a browser (EV Search) does not display any issues or cause the application to go to a "Not Responding" state. Therefore, this behavior is not present when previewing the item using Veritas Advanced Supervision (VAS), which is browser based.
