Note: There are two similar event ID's with different Notes Errors.
1) Failed to determine server connectivity - 7267 [The remote server is not a known TCP/IP host.]
2) Failed to determine server connectivity - 2051 [Unable to find path to server. Check that your network connection is working. If you have a working connection, go to Preferences - Notes Ports and click Trace to discover where it breaks down.]
You may encounter either error or both depending on the environment.
Error 1: Is caused by not being able to resolve the FQDN of the Enterprise Vault Domino Gateway (EVDG).
Error 2: Can be caused by a misconfigured Notes Client that is installed on the (EVDG).
Error 1: To resolve Error 1 it will be necessary to resolve any name look up issues that is preventing Lotus Notes on
on the (EVDG) from resolving the FQDN of the (EVDG). A local host entry can be used to resolve this issue.
Error 2: From the Notes client on the EV server that is generating the event ID's follow the recommended steps to determine where the failure is. Go to Preferences - Notes Ports and click Trace to discover where it breaks down.
Additionally, verify that the same Notes client is configured properly and can access the Name and Address Book on the (EVDG).
As a last resort it may be necessary to uninstall and reinstall and configure the same Notes client.
