
There are several environmental issues that can prevent communications between servers (Anti-Virus, Firewall, Intrusion Detection Software, etc.). If it has been determined the environment is not blocking the communications, then proceed.
If the issue is being caused after a node restore to a new Appliance, the problem will be with the t_cluster_boot record pointing to the wrong server or database; which will require Veritas Support assistance to resolve.
Determine if the communications is functioning correctly.
On both the Cluster Master and the failing Appliance
(from the command prompt)
► Netstat -abo | FindStr :2595
Is the port Listening and is the port owned by cwjava.exe?
Resolve if both are not true
► D:\CW\Vxx\> b admin-client
Repeat the action with the additional checks
b admin-client
b admin-client
b admin-client
