Cause

This is caused by CC failing to update the config.properties file with the requested changes.

 

Resolution

There are no plans to address this issue by way of a patch or hotfix in earlier versions of the software at the present time.  However, the issue has been addressed in the revision of the product specified at the end of this article.

This issue has been fixed in eDP with the release of Cumulative Hotfix 9.5.2.

Issue/Introduction

After changing the MySQL root password via the Clearwell Commander(CC), the eDiscovery Platform(eDP) is no longer able to run Appliance (Node) backups.
