Error Message
You do not have permission to access the instance 'Customer Name'
Cause
The cause is currently unknown, but it is suspected to be a corruption in the cache of .NET Framework.
Resolution
Log on to the customer instance as the EV service account. Modify each role that is assigned to the account not able to connect. For each role element, uncheck then recheck the 'Allow' or 'Deny' permission in the role. Click save.
Note that this may need to be performed on all roles depending on the level of corruption on the computer.
Issue/Introduction
When attempting to connect to a Discovery Accelerator or Compliance Accelerator server, the user is presented with the below error message. Connecting to the customer using the EV service account is fine. Checking the roles using the EV service account, you do not find any deny permissions that would explain the lack of permissions required for the user in question.
