Issue/Introduction

When auditing is enabled, modifying the SMTP settings at the Enterprise Vault (EV) Server level can log Error 8324 "Caller provided a table (SmtpServerTLSSettings) that does not exist in the Vault Directory Database' in the EV Event log. Any changes made to the SMTP Settings are successfully applied, and there is no functionality affected at that level. However, there will be no auditing event captured for those changes.

This issue has been identified in the following versions of Enterprise Vault:
  • 12.x
  • 14.x
