Error Message

It is not possible to login from the Enterprise Vault Client for Mac / Toolbar

The Enterprise Vault Console log contains: 

10:16:13 +0000 : Exiting : [PreferencePane supportedMailClients]
10:16:13 +0000 : This is the initial configuration, so create configuration plist in the application settings folder
10:16:13 +0000 : Currently using configuration plist user/root is not exist

10:16:35 +0000 : Plist creation failure

10:21:35 +0000 : No configured mail box found in mail client

Cause

The aforementioned issue has been observed when OS X Catalina is configured to be bound with Windows Active Directory and while installing the Enterprise Vault Mac Client with an active directory user.

During the installation the file named Configurations.plist is not created in path 
/Users//Library/Application Support/Enterprise Vault/Settings 

Such file contains the Enterprise Vault Client for Mac configuration and its association with the installed Microsoft Outlook version.

Resolution

This issue has been resolved in Enterprise Vault 14.1.2 and later.  The installation media is available from Downloads

Issue/Introduction

After the Enterprise Vault Client for Mac installation on Catalina it is not possible to login; therefore no retrieve or restore of Enterprise Vault archived items are possible from Microsoft Outlook.
