Dtrace on 'ServerMigration' process while reproducing the issue generates the following error:

Cause

This issue can occur when the Logon Account on the EV services in the format VSA@ev.local. The Migration Wizard searches for VSA account in format ev.local\VSA.

Resolution

  1. On source EV server re-enter the VSA credentials in format ev.local\VSA under all the Enterprise Vault  services.
  2. Do not start the EV services. 
  3. Perform the export once again and created a new package.
  4. Attempt to import again 

Issue/Introduction

When running the Enterprise Vault Server Settings Migration Wizard (SSMW) on the destination server, during the check for the VSA credentials it generates the error "Please enter Valid password".
