Description

The article contains the known issues in Merge1, which impact Microsoft Teams archiving in Veritas Enterprise Vault 14.2 and later:

• Installation of Veritas Enterprise Vault and the Merge1 server is not supported on the same machine due to VC++ Runtime compatibility issue.
• Private Channel messages are collected or not collected based on Public Channel option. If Public Channel option is selected for collection, you get private channel messages irrespective of the user chosing the private channel option. Private channel is not collected if public channel option is not selected.
• Cannot use CA certificate for Teams Importer creation due to a Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL) limitation on the Merge1 server.
• In certain scenarios, the Microsoft APIs do not provide reactions in response. As a result they may not show up in search result previews. 
• If you specify a date range for the Importer, you may get one day of additional data from the end date of the date range.
