In dtrace of MMC we see that Outlook is not being detected:

Cause

Registry keys of older version of outlook is still present due to which EV is not able to detect the version of Outlook installed on the EV server.

Resolution

  1. Repair the office install.
  2. Uninstall and reinstall Microsoft Outlook on Enterprise Vault Server.
  3. If issue persists then contact Microsoft to do a manual clean up of the registry keys of the older version and perform the clean install of supported version of Outlook.
