A change was made to the date range picker to add the selection of the time in version 14.x and higher. The default time selection of the FROM date was also used for the TO date, thus resulting in the TO date time's default selection of 00:00.

Two simple workarounds exist:

1. Edit the TO date time to 23:59 to reflect the end of the day.

2. Edit the TO date to one day ahead of the required date and leave the time at the default of 00:00.

There are no plans to address this issue by way of a patch or hotfix in earlier versions of the software at the present time. However, the issue has been addressed in the revision of the product specified at the end of this article.

When creating a new Search in Enterprise Vault (EV) Compliance Accelerator 14.x, the TO date time defaults to 00:00 instead of 23:59. This causes the Search to end at the start of the TO date instead of at the end of the TO date.
