Cause
This issue is due to the NBU master server name being recorded in the database record for each archived item. When the name is changed the new master server is not referenced when retrieving an EV archived item.
Resolution
An update can be performed in SQL to specify the new master server name. Please contact Veritas Support to determine next steps for this issue.
Note: The NBU master server name change must have been performed by Professional Services to ensure it was done properly.

When using NetBackup (NBU) to migrate Enterprise Vault (EV) collection files the files will not be restored if the master server name has been changed.
