Error 1311.Source file not found: D:\Temp\*

The following pop up message will appear:

Cause

Check location mentioned in error to see file exist.  If not, this issue can be due to interference of Anti-virus software removing the installation file mentioned.

Resolution

To resolve this issue it is recommended either to temporarily disable anti-virus during upgrades or installation. 

If that is not possible then exclude the Temp location in the error message from real time scanning. 

Issue/Introduction

An upgrade of eDiscovery will halt with a pop up. Selecting the 'Retry' button will result in the same error being produced. Selecting the 'Cancel' button will stop the upgrade.
