Batch Processing Status Under 'Processing' => 'Procesing Status' will show the following:
'Document Indexer' and 'Completed with Errors'

Processing => Exceptions=> File Notices will show a large count under 'Check for embedded documents failed'

This issue can occur if the "The Clearwell system is over 100% of processing capacity".
You will see a banner as follows in the gui.

This issue can be resolved by either upgrading the licensing capacity of eDiscovery or by archiving some cases in order to free up processing capacity.
