Description

In certain cases, an administrator may want to restrict reviewer access to only specific folders in that case.

This can be done by creating a special profile in that case which only allows visibility to the desired folder(s) and assigning it to the reviewer(s).

Steps:

  1. Create a folder in the case and copy the desired items into that folder.
  2. In System > Users, add the case to the desired reviewer(s) Authorized Cases.

  3. Open the case and go to Case Home and open Users.
  4. Select the Access Profiles tab and click Add at the bottom left to create a new profile.

  5. Enter a Profile Name and Description.  If different reviewer will have visibility to different folders, use a descriptive name to identify which folder(s) are covered by that profile.
  6. On the Features tab, select the General Rights and Document Access Rights for the reviewers assigned this profile.

  7. On the Documents tab, only select Show Folder & Contents for those folders you want reviewers to access.  Select Don't Show Folder or Contents for all other folders.

  8. Click Submit to save.
  9. On the Users tab, open each case user to have restricted access and change the Access Profile to the one created in Step 5 and Save.

  10. Reviewers assigned that profile will now have access to only the folders made visible in Step 7 above.
