Users are unable to view their archives under Enterprise Vault Search (EVS) page

Error Message

While accessing EVS webpage either from Enterprise Vault Outlook Add-in or from an internet browser, the user is unable to view his/her archive.

Example: In the screenshot below, User1_New archive is not listed on the left pane of EVS webpage.

Cause

This can be caused if the required Archive Group is not selected under Preferences setting under EVS webpage of the user archive.

 

Resolution

In order to resolve the issue, following steps can be performed.
1. On user machine, launch Outlook.
2. Under Enterprise Vault tab > Select Search Vaults > EVS webpage shall load.
3. On the top right corner of EVS page, click on the arrow beside the username and select Preferences.



4. Under Preferences, select Archive Groups > Check Email option > Done.



5. Enterprise Vault Search page shall be refreshed and the user archive will be visible under EMAIL section of the page.
