Description

When configuring a Symphony importer, there is an option to select the record types that will be imported into the target.

There are three options to choose from including:

• Social Message
• Event
• Email Notification

Note: The options can be seen when configuring the connector. See below.  

A review of the XML files uploaded from Symphony can be used to determine which of the three options needs to be selected.

A keyword search for the phrase recordType in the XML files provided by Symphony will provide insight into what information is characterized as record types event, social message and email notification. 

Note: Multiple recordTypes are often present in a single XML file. 

Given this, a decision can be made on whether all or some of the data contained in the XML files will be imported based on the information desired.
