Issue/Introduction
In Enterprise Vault (EV) Compliance Accelerator (CA) and Discovery Accelerator (DA) version 14.2.x, link-enabled images, which are images that have a hyperlink pointing to a uniform resource locator (URL), do not open their links as expected when the environment is configured to use a default browser that is not Internet Explorer (see Related Articles below). Similar issues have been previously reported and addressed in version 14.2.3, per the Related Articles listed below; however, the issue may remain for some link-enabled images.
Clicking regular links (non-image links) do open as expected in the default browser. Right-clicking regular links (non-image links), then clicking on Copy Shortcut copies the link properly and the copied link is able to be pasted and accessed in the default browser.
Clicking on an image which contains a link (image link) does not open the link in any browser. Right-clicking the image with a link and selecting Open Link also does not open the link in any browser. However, right-clicking the image with a link and then selecting Open In New Window does open the link in Internet Explorer, instead of the default browser.
