Description

Error Message

There are no errors.

Cause

Resuming a saved search state takes the user back to A&R and restores the last search state (includes filters or keywords, etc.) that was saved upon previous logout.  If a user does not logout of eDP, but simply closes the browser window, the search state is cleared.  The Resume Search State feature will only ever save the search state when the user selects the Logout link from the Analysis and Review page.

Resolution

As a workaround, do not close the browser. Instead, click the Logout link, and select Yes at the Save your current search state so you can start at the same place when you log in again? prompt.

Issue/Introduction

If there is a saved search present under eDiscovery Platform (eDP) Analysis & Review (A&R), a window will pop up after a user logs on with a prompt Do you want to start where you were when you last logged out? Whether selecting Yes or No, the saved search state will be cleared and no longer saved. Additionally, selecting Yes, eDP will try to restore the saved search state before clearing it. The only time a search state from A&R can be saved is when clicking the Logout button and acknowledging Yes to the prompt Logout - Save Search State.
