Description = Not able to update retention on object, possible cause don't have 's3:PutObjectRetention' permission or retention stamped on object is higher
Cause
The issue occurs because of concurrency where multiple threads are trying to update the retention of the same store identifier, resulting in one thread being successful and the other thread working on stale data, causing the update to fail for other threads which then log the failure with Event ID 29139.
Resolution
Veritas Technologies LLC currently plans to address this issue by way of a patch or hotfix to the current version of the software.
