Error Message
No error is presented in the CA Customer properties on the EVBAAdmin site on the CA server. However, the
Info section of the
Current Status pane is stuck on the comment
Updating.
Cause
The SQL Server drive hosting the
tempdb database and/or transaction log files running out of available space will cause this issue.
Resolution
Check the SQL Server to determine if there is available space on the drive hosting the
tempdb database and transaction log files. Contact the SQL DBA responsible for the SQL Server to add space or take other needed actions to ensure there is adequate free space for the CA upgrade to be successful. Note that the CA customer database upgrade will be impacted until the SQL DBA works to ensure sufficient free space is available for the
tempdb database and transaction log files.
Issue/Introduction
The Compliance Accelerator (CA) Customer database is stuck during the upgrade process. This issue can also occur with Discovery Accelerator (DA) Customer and/or Custodian Manager database upgrades.
