Cause
One or more versions of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable was removed from the affected server.
The Enterprise Vault Installers automatically install the following software as required:
■ Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64)
■ Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)
■ Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x86)
■ Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable Package (x64)
■ Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable Package (x86)
■ Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Package (x64)
■ Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Package (x86)
■ Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 Redistributable Package (x64)
■ Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 Redistributable Package (x86)
Administrators may remove one or more redistributable packages believing they are not needed when in fact they are used by different parts of Enterprise Vault.
Resolution
To resolve the issue, install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (2015-2022 ) on the affected server, and attempt to run the 14.4 migration wizard again.
