A Dtrace of the ArchiveTask process on the EV server may show the following:
(ArchiveTask) <18204> EV:M {FindExchServerDn:#889} Search did not return any hits. Exchange server is not in this forest or there is an AD issue.
(ArchiveTask) <18204> EV:H {FindExchServerDn:#926} Error: [0x80005004]
(ArchiveTask) <18204> EV:H {GetExchangeServerValues:#4405} Error [0x80005004]
Cause
This may be caused by a Trust issue between the Exchange server and the Enterprise Vault server causing communication to fail.
Resolution
Solve the Trust issue between the Exchange server and the EV server so that they can communicate properly.
Restart the Archiving task, and create a new Outlook Profile for the system mailbox configured on the Settings tab of the archiving task.
