Description

To apply an existing retention policy on a shared archive, you can either create a new retention plan or use an existing one. 
  1. Open the properties of the shared archive, and under advanced tab, copy the archive-id.
  2. If you would like to create a new retention plan, you can create one from the Retention & Classification tab on the EV admin console.
  3. Open Enterprise Vault Management Shell, and run the below command to apply the Retention plan to the archive. :
  4. Set-EVArchive -ArchiveId -RetentionPlanName "RetentionPlan/Category Name"
