Cause

The desktopclientcache.dll is not initialized.

 

Resolution

Run the ResetEVClient Utility which will help re-register the desktopclientcache.dll.

Issue/Introduction

When a user attempts to configure the vault cache, a message: 'Unable to display Vault Cache properties' is displayed. In addition to this, if the user attempts to click on the synchronize button in the tool bar, it throws a warning message: 'Unable to start Vault Cache synchronization'.
