Problem :

The Veritas Information Classifier (VIC) Policy tester is not working as expected. 

When creating a policy and testing the policy per documentation, items will fail to match the policy as expected.

Where setting the conditions of the policy and then browsing to the test file should result in a match it does not. 

Error Message :

No Match

Cause :

This issue is a defect in the product. 

Solution :

To workaround this issue, simply enter the condition into the field of the 'Test' section and refresh the file.

Then retest the file and match should work as expected. 

The issue has been resolved in Enterprise Vault 14.5.2
