{C}%3C!%2D%2Dstartindex%2D%2D%3ETo rename an active SMTP archive in Enterprise Vault for SMTP, follow these steps.
  1. Open the Archive Properties window for the SMTP archive you want to rename.
  2. In the Archive Properties window, go to the General tab.
  3. In the Archive Name field, enter the new name for the archive.
  4. Click on the OK button to save the changes.
  5. The SMTP archive will now be renamed.

PS: No service restart is required for this activity.
