Cause
In the Review tab of a DA Case's Review Set, there are buttons for Marks that can be assigned to items to denote their review status. The possible Marks are No Mark, Relevant, Query, and Not Relevant. Marks are not visible to new users until they are assigned a Case level Role that has been granted permission to use the Marks. The Marks are assigned through the Marks tab at both the Application and Case levels.
Resolution
- If not previously created in the Application tab | Roles sub-tab, create a customized Case level Role as needed with only those Permissions granted that are required for the actions the new Reviewer(s) must perform.
- In the Application tab | Marks sub-tab, for each Mark to be used by the new Role in the Application Marks pane, select the Case level Role in the Mark Details pane, clicking the Apply button to save the change(s). This change in the Role selection must be saved for each Role before the next Role can be selected.
- In the Cases tab, repeat the actions in Step 2 in the Marks sub-tab of each Case for the new Role that will be used.
Issue/Introduction
New Reviewers cannot see the Marks needed to review items in Enterprise Vault (EV) Discovery Accelerator (DA).
