Description

How to configure Microsoft Entra ID application for Single Sign On (SSO) with Data Insight

1. Login to the Azure Portal as a Global Administrator (https://portal.azure.com)
2. Navigate to Microsoft Entra ID - Enterprise applications
3. Click the New application link.
4. In the Browse Microsoft Entra Gallery screen, click the Create your own application link.
5. In the configuration window, provide a name for the application and select the radio button: Integrate any other application you don't find in the gallery (non-gallery) followed by the Create button.
6. Once the application has been created, select the Single sign-on link.
7. Select the SAML single sign-on method.
8. Edit the Basic SAML Configuration 
   1. Identifier (Entity ID) = _MS or _Portal
   2. Examples:
      1. datainsight.server.com_MS
      2. datainsight.server.com_Portal
9. Edit the SAML Certificates 
   1. Signing Option = Sign SAML response and assertion
