Data Insight scan of Sharepoint failed with error V-378-1312-509: Share discovery failed for the SharePoint Online account (Details: Could not discover site collections for webapp https://)","https://","System User","2".
Cause
This issue occurs due to an expired client secret ID.
The client secret ID is used for authorization and authentication purposes in Data Insight. When the client secret ID expires, it needs to be regenerated and updated in the Data Insight configuration.
Resolution
To resolve the issue, follow these steps:

Regenerate the client secret ID:
- Access the Sharepoint Online admin center.
- Navigate to the App registrations section.
- Find the application associated with Data Insight and select it.
- Generate a new client secret ID and make note of it.

Update the client secret ID in Data Insight:
- Log in to the Data Insight management console.
- Go to the Data Sources tab.
- Select the Sharepoint data source that is experiencing the scan failure.
- Click on Edit to modify the data source settings.
- Update the client secret ID field with the newly generated ID.
- Save the changes.

Test the Sharepoint scan:
- Trigger a manual scan of the Sharepoint data source in Data Insight.
- Monitor the scan progress and check for any error messages.
- Verify that the scan is completed successfully without any errors.
