The error message [#500169] indicates a precondition check failure related to the search functionality in the eDiscovery Platform Review Module. It specifically occurs when a selected search contains a location constraint and cannot be searched until the Document Locator Index is updated. This error code signifies that the search operation cannot proceed until the necessary index updates are completed.
Cause
The root cause of this technical problem is a bug in the eDiscovery Platform Review Module. The issue was initially reported as a feature request but was later identified as a bug by the Product Manager. The problem occurs in both version 10.2.2 and 10.2.5 of the eDiscovery Platform. It has been observed since the introduction of the new interface within Analysis and Review and has become more prominent with larger cases.
Resolution
This issue is resolved in 10.2.7 of the eDiscovery Platform.
