After configuring SAML in eDiscovery Platform, clicking the Logout button will go to dashboard instead of the login page.

Cause

The SAML authenticated credentials are still recognized and therefore, as soon as eDP is logged out, the product then logs back in and defaults back to the dashboard.

Resolution

1.  Login to eDP server using a browser
2.  Click on the System link top right corner
3.  Click on the Support Features
4.  For Choose a support feature dropdown box, select Property Browser
5.  For Name of property to change, type:  esa.saml.sp.samlAuthRequest.forceAuthentication
6.  For New value (leave blank to remove), type:  true
7.  Select the checkbox to Confirm change.  Are you sure?
8.  Then press the Submit button

Issue/Introduction

eDiscovery Platform (eDP) has been configured to use SAML for end user authentication. After an end user has logged in, and then press the Logout button, the graphical user interface (GUI) will redirect back to the dashboard instead of back to the login page.
