In Enterprise Vault (EV) Compliance Accelerator/Veritas Advanced Supervision (CA/VAS) or Discovery Accelerator (DA), the History tab may display Undisclosed Recipients and may not list email recipients in the To, Cc or Bcc fields.  In compliance and auditing scenarios, it is essential to have the full list of email recipients. However, the CA/VAS or DA client has a limitation where it can only display up to 250 characters of the recipient list in the History tab of the Review tab/widget.

Note: all recipients should be visible in the Preview tab of the Review tab/widget.

Steps to view the full list of recipients:

1. Identify the emails with Undisclosed Recipients:

   • Open the CA/VAS or DA client and navigate to the items under review.
   • Check the History tab for the recipient list. If it shows Undisclosed Recipients or only a few recipients, proceed to the next step.

2. Export emails with the full recipient list:

   • Select the emails needing to be exported.
   • Select the Include journal recipients in reports option during the export configuration.  This option ensures that the export report includes the full list of recipients.

3. Review the export report:

   • Once the export is complete, open the export report.
   • The report will contain the complete list of recipients, including those that were not displayed in the History tab.

Additional Considerations:

• Character limit: The client has a 250-character limit for displaying recipients. If the recipient list exceeds this limit, it will show three dots at the end, indicating more recipients.
• Journal report: The journal report may include uncategorized recipients in addition to the TO, CC, and BCC recipients. These are classified as Undisclosed Recipients when their original category cannot be determined.
