Cause
The root cause of the tagging pane glitch was identified as a software bug within the eDiscovery Platform Review Module. This bug caused the system to incorrectly handle the state of privilege comments when the tagging pane was manipulated (popped out and back in). The underlying factors contributing to this issue were related to the module's state management and rendering logic.
Resolution
There are currently no plans to address this issue through a patch or hotfix in the current or previous versions of the software. However, it is scheduled to be resolved in the next major product revision. Please note that the product engineering team reserves the right to remove any fix from the targeted release if it does not pass quality assurance tests.
