The issue was caused by a missing parameter in a stored procedure in the CA Customer database from version 14.3 and newer. Please contact Technical Support for assistance with reviewing the stored procedure to determine if a workaround can be applied.

 

There are no plans to address this issue by way of a patch or hotfix in earlier versions of the software at the present time.  However, the issue has been addressed in the revision of the product specified at the end of this article.

Attempting to copy items from the Preview of a Search run in a Research Folder in Enterprise Vault (EV) Compliance Accelerator (CA) that has not yet been Accepted to another Research Folder under the same (Parent) Department using the Copy items to research folder button at the bottom right of the Preview pane is not successful. The selected items do not copy over. There are no warnings, errors or exceptions logged and no on-screen messages are displayed. However, copying items from the Review Set of one Research Folder to another Research Folder under the same Parent Department seems to work as expected, as does copying items from the Review Set of a Department to a Research Folder under the same (Parent) Department. Note that items can only be copied from a Department to Research Folders under the (Parent) Department and within Research Folders under the same Parent Department.
